Conclusion
This project has given us a chance to implement our knowledge that we gained in ENPH 110 and relate it to something close to home; our pets. What we want people to take away from our project is that pet ownership is a huge responsibility, no matter what kind of animal you choose to take into your home. This decision must be long thought out, the benefits and risks have to be understood, and you must account for all of these factors before you go get a pet. If everyone had always taken our suggested route to pet ownership, perhaps we would not have Burmese Pythons roaming the Everglades or other former pets that became invasive species. We also many not have the approximately 2.7 million animals that are euthanized or 7.6 million animals that enter animal shelters, each year.
